The Lions of Senegal will each receive an amount of four (4) million CFA for participation in African Nations’ Cup, Equatorial Guinea 2015.
This information was disclosed during an interview by an official of Senegalese Football Federation, Mr, Youssou Camara on RFM, a private radio station in Dakar. He was quoted saying that, ” Each player will be paid a sum of 4 millions CFA for their participation”. He further said that “this sum will be paid to each player before they depart by special flight today Thursday to Mongomo via Malabo in Equatorial Guinea”.
The Senegalese National team left Morocco today where they camped in El Jadida for the past one week for their preparations for the final phase of the African Nations’ Cup 2015.
The Teranga Lions registered two victories in their test matches against Gabon (1-0) and Guinea (5-2) respectively. Alain Giresse’s team will play against Ghana in their first match on January 19 in Mongomo.
The President of both the Senegalese Football Association and WAFU Zone A, Mr. Augustin Senghor has since arrived in Mongomo as Head of delegation.
