MaliIn a packed stadium, amidst drumming and singing, the Malians somehow fell short of the composure they showed in the first match on Friday. Though they bagged a handful of chances in both halves, these could not be translated into goals. On the other hand, the Senegalese recovered from their lackluster start in the first match after dropping some key players to the bench which some observers hailed as positive changes to the team. Both teams entertained the huge crowd with “flowing football” reminiscent of African game  in  the presence of the Minister of Sports, Hon. Matar Ba who presented the Trophy to the winning team. WAFU President Augustin Senghor, Vice Presidents Amadou Kane and Abdoulie Sow, General Secretary tor Cisse of the Senegal FF, Mayor of Mbour, Coach Alain Giresse, Mayassin Marr, Technical Director, SFF  were amongst the many dignitaries who graced the final match in the Stade Caroline Faye in Mbour. Mr. Alpha Fall and Mr. Musa Fall were the Match Commissioners respectively for the Tournament.
