In the forthcoming Orange CAF African Cup of Nations, Cape Verde and Senegal have booked their places in our continent’s elite tournament to be hosted by Equatorial Guinea from January 17 – February 8, 2015. Mali and Guinea Conakry could equally qualify with home wins against Algeria and Uganda respectively.
Mali lies second on the table with six points and nine points behind the group leaders Algeria after five matches. Malawi trail them in third position on goal difference and will play Ethiopia (3 points} on March day six.
Guinea Conakry are in third position with seven points behind Uganda on goal difference and one point behind the group leaders Ghana. Togo are bottom of the table but with six points. The race is too tight for a loss from the final qualifier.
Congratulations to Cape Verde and Senegal. Go Mali and Go Guinea Conakry.
